By using DebtFree, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What DebtFree is
DebtFree is a personal tool that helps you plan and track credit-card payoff using strategies such as avalanche and snowball. It is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
Not financial advice
DebtFree provides estimates and planning tools for information only. It is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
Accuracy of figures
Payoff timelines, interest, and totals are estimates based on the information you enter and on data the app detects from your SMS or email. Real interest, fees, and balances are set by your bank. We do not guarantee that any figure shown is exact.
Your responsibilities
You agree to enter accurate information, to keep your device secure, and to use the app lawfully. You are responsible for the accounts and permissions you connect.
Connected accounts and permissions
When you grant SMS permission or connect an email account, you authorize DebtFree to read the relevant messages to detect balances and payments, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke any permission or disconnect any account at any time.
Ads
DebtFree is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Your use of the app includes the display of these ads.
Third-party services
The app relies on third-party services including Google AdMob, your email provider, and a public exchange-rate provider. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Intellectual property
DebtFree and its design, code, and content are owned by us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app.
Termination
You may stop using DebtFree at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any feature, at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date above will change.
